Marisa Chancellor

Senior Director IT

Marisa is a 25-plus year veteran of the IT profession in Silicon Valley and is passionate about driving productivity, growth and innovation through transforming technology, process and culture. For the past 15 years, she has developed, deployed and promoted the use of collaboration technology for enterprises such as social media, unified communications, video, mobile, web and cloud and regularly shares Cisco’s internal strategies and results with customers and partners.

Marisa and her team were recently awarded the Computerworld Honors Laureate for Innovation for the development of an enterprise collaboration platform.

Before joining Cisco, Marisa spent seven years at NASA Ames Research Center’s Numerical Aerodynamic Simulation Systems Division, serving as Deputy Division Chief driving high performance computing and communications research and operations.

Marisa is a graduate of the University of California at Davis, with a B.S in Computer Science and Mathematics.
